Alyssa & Ryan's Sweet and rustic wedding at the condor's nest ranch

Ryan and Alyssa gathered family and friends from all over the States to celebrate their long-awaited marriage at the Condor’s Nest Ranch in Pala, California. It was a beautiful, warm, and sun-filled day; so much so that it was hard to believe it was November! This was a pleasant surprise and gift to those who had traveled from the snowy Midwest and East Coast.

The couple remained cool, calm and collected as the day progressed. It was clear that their priority was to care for their family and friends first, and worry about a perfect ceremony second. What a wonderful thing! The guys entertained themselves on the mini croquet field, while the ladies sipped and smiled as they took turns relaxing into the makeup chair. Soon enough the couple had their first look in the corridor of a beautiful barn, complete with a silhouette backdrop. Even more was the tattered American flag that hung gracefully behind Ryan and his fellow servicemen as they posed for fun and fierce photos. This flag was perfectly positioned to serve as a symbol of their fearless dedication to serve our country.

The bridal party was a blast to shoot with—there wasn’t a pose or picture that wasn’t coupled with witty commentary or joyful laughs. We finished the group photos Charlie’s Angels style and soon enough the benches were filled with guests and the ceremony was beginning.

The scene was just right: the sun was setting against the hillside behind the wedding arbor and the sky was perfectly clear. The officiant retold the story of how Alyssa and Ryan met and the significance of their relationship as it was built while he was serving overseas. Once the two were pronounced husband and wife, guests mixed and mingled around the pool as the DJ cued a classic country playlist. This set the tone for the entirety of the reception. Songs about life were played and advice from the couple married the longest was shared. The newlyweds paid a visit to each table and an overall feeling of family and togetherness filled the space. As we ended our night with the couple we photographed lots of smiles and laughs on the dance floor. What a beautiful and gracious couple to spend the day with.

Congrats to the new Mr. & Mrs. Moore!
